# Getting a Pet Egg

First you need to get a pet egg.\
There are two types of eggs in the game

![](https://revolgc.pro/data/items/item/8474.png) [Special Pet Egg](https://revolgc.pro/r2wiki/8474/item/) - can be purchased from the in-game shop.

They differ in the speed of development, and in the future by the increase in characteristics during [mergers](https://wiki.revolgc.pro/en/introduction-to-the-game/pitomcy/sliyanie-pitomcev).

After you have received the egg, equip it and name your future pet.\
